Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
This policy is for residents of Washington State and Nevada, whose laws protect "consumer health data", and for anyone else who wants to know how we handle it. Esprevia makes coffee for the phases of the menstrual cycle, so some information about you could be treated as health data even if we only infer it, for example from the fact that you joined our waitlist. Questions: contact@esprevia.com.
Consumer health data we collect
- Your interest in a menstrual-cycle product, inferred from visiting our site, joining the waitlist or reserving a founding spot.
- Your name and email address linked to that interest.
- Reservation details (that you reserved and paid a deposit). Card details go to Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Website activity (pages viewed, device and approximate location from IP address), only if you accept advertising cookies.
We do not ask for your cycle dates, symptoms, diagnoses or other health information, and we ask you not to send it to us.
Why we collect it
- To add you to our waitlist and send the emails you signed up for.
- To take and manage your founding reservation.
- To keep our site secure and stop spam signups.
- If you accept advertising cookies, to measure whether our Instagram and Facebook ads lead people to the site.
Where it comes from
Directly from you (forms and checkout), and from your browser when you use our site.
Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only with the service providers that run Esprevia, and only for the purposes above:
- Klaviyo (email list and emails)
- Stripe (reservation payments)
- Netlify (website hosting)
- Cloudflare (bot protection on our forms)
- Meta Platforms (ad measurement), only after you consent by accepting advertising cookies
We have no affiliates. We do not sell consumer health data.
Your rights
- Know and access: ask whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and get a list of everyone we've shared it with.
- Withdraw consent: decline or turn off advertising cookies anytime with Your privacy choices at the bottom of our homepage, and unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
- Delete: ask us to delete your consumer health data. We'll also tell our service providers to delete it.
To make a request, email contact@esprevia.com with the subject "Health data request". We'll confirm the request comes from your email address and respond within 45 days (we may extend once by another 45 days if needed, and will tell you if we do). Requests are free.
Appeals
If we deny your request, reply to our answer with the subject "Appeal" and we'll respond within 45 days, explaining what we decided and why. If you're unhappy with the outcome, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
